Stayed in the Beach House. Gulf view room was outstanding! Pools were great. Had to wait a long time to get service at the restaurant. But, the food was very good! Everyone was friendly.

My husband & I stayed her for a romantic getaway, it was very nice. The rooms were clean, well decorated and we had a view of the ocean. The staff was very attentive and courteous, we had one or two small issues (had to wait to check-in and get our luggage). But the manager went out of his way to make it up to us, $50.00 discount for a message and comp. breakfast. The grounds were lovely and the ocean was superb. The resort was quite pricey, as was the whole area in Naples. Watch for resort fee 17.00 per day, parking 20.00 per day and 20% gratuity added to all service, it adds up. We would definitely stay there again.
Rooms neglected

Stayed Xmas 2006. Location and service great but corporate execs have long neglected investing time and money to refurbish guest rooms. Too much old dirt, grime left over months or years of hskpg staff. Had to wipe grime from the light switches before using. Bathroom marble was old and abused, grout missing. Chair rail and crown molding imbedded with old dirt and mold. Worst part was a horrible musty/water damage smell in the room. Ritz Carlton's bathroom by the pool was cleaner than the one in my room! Way too much money per night for that stuff.

For the more wealthy clientel. Georgeous rooms. Beachfront views couldn't be beat. Expensive! $10 for a Pina Colada plus they automatically add 20% gratuity plus tax. Pina colada was $12.60!!! Lush pool grounds. Staff very friendly. Hotel automaically charges $18 a day for valet...which is the ONLY way you can park and $17 for in room internet (which didn't work until last night of stay), daily paper, beach towels, beach chairs, etc. Would have rather tipped all personnel instead of the charges. Sophisticated hotel as opposed to fun. As a single person, I would not go back.

Excellent location, well maintained facility, attentive staff, great beach, excellent - albeit expensive restaurant.
