Great stay, great honeymoon!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and loved it! It was easy to get to and the downtown area was within minutes. It was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. We had a little refig (a pretty good size too), microwave, and coffeemaker too, which was awesome. Actually, we were supposed to get 2 double beds because it was cheaper, but when we got there they gave was a king size bed for the same price which we wanted at 1st. We even got an awesome view of the river from our balcony. We loved the layout of the room, also. The breakfast was great. The only complaint would be is it was the same thing everyday and it wasn't hot enough. Other than that it tasted great. It is an awesome stay for honeymooners, families, and elderly because it is quiet and relaxing. Our only complaint would be that the maintenance guy wasn't friendly when one of our lights went out, but you get someone like that everywhere you go. Everyone else there was nice though. We would stay there again (wish it was a little cheaper though) and would highly recommend it to someone.

This was our first stay at Springhill Suites and we found it to be a wonderful place to stay. We celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary there and would definately stay there again. The service was very friendly and accomodating and the cont. breakfast was the best we have had at any place we have every stayed. This particular Springhill Suites has awesome views of the Ashley River, the City, and the Marina. On Saturday evening a display of fireworks was released over the Riverdogs stadium, which was just across the river from the hotel, and it was simply gorgeous with the reflections of the fireworks over the water! We try to visit Charleston at least once and sometimes twice a year and will definately put Springhill Suites as our #1 choice next visit.

We stayed here for 4 days on vacation in Charleston. The hotel is within easy reach about
3 miles from downtown Charleston. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay here
again in the future.

We recently had the oppurtunity to stay at this hotel for two nights last weekend. The hotel was very accomidating to my request for a room with a view and allowed me to have flowers delivered to the room prior to our checkin. Room was excellent and had a great view and very clean. Continental breakfast has a good choice including waffles and hot food also. I would definately recomend staying at this location and will do so again when I travel to Charleston. Although not directly downtown, it is a short drive and you save about $145 over the room prices down there.
