The Worst Sheraton Ever!!!

I have stayed at many sheratons in the L.A. area and I love the chain. This hotel has very old rooms and they are extremely small. The room was not clean and it is a very noisy area. The front desk said well you booked with an online travel websiet so there is nothing we can do. They were awful. The room service has more extra charges then I have ever seen. The parking is expensive and not impressive. This hotel is not worthy of the name Sheraton at all.

Don't let the name fool you!!!

We came in for the Rose Parade and did not get what we were expecting to see. I expected the name Sheraton to be something big. But it's just a hole in the wall motel that is being renovated. Even with renovations it's still a hole in the wall. We did not receive the service we were expected. The pool and the fitness room were closed. They sent us next door to another hotel (The Renaissance) (Best Motel in Years) to use there facilities. Which is where we ended up staying (Gotta get the junior suite). But anyway to stay on the subject, this motel is not recommended, not even for your pet. Does not look like the pictures on the internet. The online company was kind enough to refund our money.

Dont stay here!!! The staff is very rude when I told them I didnt have the internet in my room they rudely moved me to a different room that still did'nt have Wifi. When they moved me to a different room I could'nt carry all my bags so i Left one behind becuase they said call when I was done moving all my stuff 20 min. latter I returned for my bag and they had thrown It away so they went out the dumpster and got my stuff back. So they had me call a help line to get my Wifi working after an hour on the phone with no result. they just blew me off. they never once said sorry!!!! the only place to get wifi is down by the front desk. The rooms vary in size my first room was nice the second one was small and cramp.

This was the best short stay hotel I've used in L.A. so far. We stayed for two days and nights. Aside from the girl at the front desk mocking us for taking advantage of the travel website rate, all other service providers were stellar. We left notes for the maid and she fullfilled our requests for no extra charge. The beds were amazingly comfortable! The baskets of fresh apples set near each elevator is a nice touch. I would have liked to have known in advance about the extra charge for parking. Also, the hotel chain no longer offers 24-hour room use (although their website still says they do). You have to check out by noon now...just like everywhere else. Unless you have a car, you are limited to that hotel's restaurants. One complaint, I sent an email to the concierge about a week prior to our stay, asking for information about jazz clubs in the area...no response.

Front desk and surrounding area was fanastic. Close to the Airport, easy to get on the highway and car rental was just around the corner..The parking fees should have been included. But overall our stay there was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Our bed was sagging in the middle but comfortable.
