My husband and I recently spent three nights at this hotel. The location was perfect, the staff exceptionally helpful. we ended up with one of their suites in a property across from the hotel. room 205 on the top floor. It was just delightful with a kitchen, fireplace, comfortable cozy beds and bricked walls that added to the ambience. The only negative is that this room was on the top floor without an elevator, so someone with handicaps would have some difficulties going up and down. It was worth it though when you arrived to your room. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We had dinner at Bonaparte, it was perfect, within walking distance, as many of the restaurants were. Boat cruise was right across the street and very enjoyable. Give it a try, you won't be dissapointed.

We were met even before we got out of the cab, our luggage was taken by Tom & we were escorted into the hotel. we were greeted as long awaited guests. Everything was explained to us such as where we could get more
information & what services were available. Our room was very clean & pleasing as to ambience. I loved the winows that opened up to the pier, The view was very nice. I loved the wall with the original brick that reminded me of the age of the hotel dispite the modern convieniences. The bed was lovely with the warn duvet. The bathroom was large with good plumbing. We enjoyed the comlimentary breakfast that was more than continental! The location was superb, easy to get to all of the parts of Montreal which we walked to. we are avid walkers. The entire hotel staff were excellent, w, x, y,
& the lady who looked after our breakfast & the gentleman who processed our
registration. Cudos to them all!

The concierge and valet staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and had many extra amenities. Whirpool jacuzzi tub was great, as was the location!! The only bad thing about this hotel was the restaurant. The service was horrible (waited for 50 minutes to get a menu and water at dinner and over 20 minutes for a breakfast menu one morning). Breakfast is included in the room rate and although the food at both meals was good, the service at 1 dinner and 2 of 3 breakfasts was bad. I recommend eating dinner at another restaurant, since that is not included in the room rate.
Unbelievable

"The staff were exceptionally friendly and competent--got us tickets to Cirque du Soleil when it was "sold out" on the internet. Food was GREAT. Rooms were lovely and comfortable. Couldn't ask for more. "
