The reception floor was spacious, with a coffee shop, gift shop, and lounge area. Check-in was polite, simple, and very fast. I felt privileged to stay there at $70 per night from a winning bid on Priceline.
Our room wasn't overly large, but it was big enough for my sister and I to be comfortable. The room contained the standard English kettle with tea bags and instant coffee. The mini-fridge contained a selection of overpriced chips, candies, and drinks. There are many restaurants in the area to dine in within walking distance. Furthermore, we found the area to be safe for walking after dark.
The hotel is about 2 minutes from the Gloucester Road Tube station. You can see the routes on the London Underground website. Valet parking is available at a per night charge.
Overall, our stay was enjoyable, and I would stay at this Holiday Inn again.
