Bad experience

I submitted a review once before, but for some reason it wasn't posted. Maybe it's because I included too many specific details of just how bad our room was! I won't go into the whole story this time--I'll just say that our bedding was soiled and the A/C didn't seem to be working right, plus it made a terrible noise. We first requested new bedding, which was dropped off at our room; we thought they'd offer to change the bedding for us and take away the soiled bedding, but they didn't, and there was no apology for the lack of cleanliness. Because of the noise of the A/C, we eventually had to request a different room so we could get some sleep. That room turned out to be okay. It was an unpleasant stay overall, though, and it was definitely not worth the cost of the room. The continental breakfast was also not on par with what we've had at other hotels.

my husband and I made last minute plans to the cincy area and this hotel had the best rates. online travel website booked us into a smoking room when we picked non-smoking. the hotel clerk did change this for us. our room was nextdoor to the indoor pool.hot tub. I didn't think the pool odor was bad. just a little smell. The room, pool, hot tub & the breakfast were all nice. The hotel staff were all friendly. Noticed when we first got to our room that a light was out. we told the clerk and it and extra pillows we requested were waiting for us when we came back. we would love to stay again.

Good Stay

Staff was friendly. Swimming pool and area are smaller than in the photo but it's was usually empty anyway. Great location for our Kings Island visits. The free breakfast was also a plus. The real cons was the floor wasn't the cleanest and the loud, annoying kid next door.

Ok place to stay

Hotel is appx 5 miles south (I-71) Kings Island and is surrounded by many resturants and other shopping. The price was fair in May ($49.50). The rooms are fine, bed a bit mushy for my taste. The doors to the rooms must be pushed or pulled shut. The doors do not close on their own. The pool area is a little to be desired. It does not bother me that the pool area is older, but cleanliness was an issue for me. Also, room service needs to learn how to dust and use glass cleaner on windows, tv, microwave...etc. I would return to this hotel simply because the rate was right and the cleanliness was moderate at best.

Great low cost place if you are Kings Island bound

Admittedly the rooms were small and the pool had too much chemical in it, but overall everything was clean and as advertised. The Contennintal breakfast had a few things like waffle makers etc. that made it more than expected. It was an easy drive from the hotel to the Kings Island entrance. If you are looking for a clean simply place to stay on a budget this is the place.
