Do I smell Skunk???

We entered the hotel with what smelled like a skunk JUST sprayed the lobby. The Friday afternoon desk clerk was below professional. She was slumped over with her head in her hand and never really greeted us. She proceeded to call on the walkie talkie as to which rooms in the hotel were clean?? Nothing friendly or courteous about her. We found the skunk smell so offensive, that we stayed away from the hotel as much as possible. The second day of our stay, we found boogers on the floor (after the room was cleaned?) by the night stand. The night stand was so small, you could barely fit the phone, clock and lamp on the one small space. Also, the bathroom sink was clogged and the drain would not open- we were out the entire day and came back to that. When the (only) courteous desk clerk took my call and an interest in our problem, she said she would look at the sink, only because no repair man was on sight. She and I were able to get the sink unclogged and the drain un-stuck. Upon her leaving, she told me that my room would be discounted "by at least 10%." When we checked out, the same unfriendly clerk we encountered upon check-in was at the desk for checking out. She said she was told that we would get a $10 break, I told her I was told 10%. She said, "Oh well." In addition, the breakfast room was so small, no more than 8 people could eat at one time. I would not recommend anyone to stay because of the staff, the SMELL and the lack of thorough cleaning.
