Poor Choice in San Antonio -

We stayed at this hotel for a total of eight nights, having booked it as part of an inclusive package (room, flight, car.) The room was filthy. Carpet stained and not well vacumned. Bathroom was dirty as well. I don't think they washed the floor the entire time we were there. Housekeeping staff seems to be unaware of any basic sanitation practices etc. This location has the "breakfast" on site. They were out of 50 to 75 % of their "menu" items on 4 of the 8 mornings we were there. There was not enough seating for the people who came through to eat. Complaining did little good. Trash in the parking lot, and around the rooms. Extremely Noisy Location !! This hotel is right next to the freeway, and there are service vehicles in and out of the parking lot all night. Also the pool was closed - with I sign that it had been closed due to failing city compliance inspection. This location of this chain, is the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

First we couldn't locate our hotel with the rental car GPS because it was still listed as La Quinta in their data base. A call to the desk provided excellent directions. The room was quiet and clean. In the morning the housekeeper came in without knocking, and when she came back later to make up the room, took a couple of small items of ours. the desk seemed pretty unconcerned.

Adequate. Older facility with VERY small, out of date bathroom. Room was clean but needed updating.

The rom was clean and servived daily. The only problem was parking is a bit cramped.
