Should be downgraded to a one star. The motel is tired. The furniture is old. The outside sidewalks are dirty. The room was not very clean and the toliet top was missing. Wouldn't want to use the coffee pot in the room, looked dirty. Wouldn't stay there again.

It is the filthiest and worst place I have ever been. They use the "Best" as a title, and they are the worst! The furniture were old and filthy. The room smelt terribly. In addition, the continental breakfast was made only of cereal and milk. There was coffee and juice with a stale test! It was served in an tiny office with one table. The smell of the office was a complete turn off.
It is unsafe place.
The fact of the matter is that it is an awful place, and I will not refer it to any person.

Nothing Fancy, but clean, quiet and right near downtown San Luis Obispo, Highway 101 and many inexpensive places to shop & eat.
Staff was very friendly and accommodated our request for extra towels.
Very good for the priced!
Okay stay

The office clerk was nice. The sheets were clean, but were cheap and scratchy. The bedside tables were dusty, as well as the corners of the room. Fortunately, we didn't spend much time in the room.
I guess you get what you pay for! the area is safe enough, with good access to the freeway.
I won't stay here again tho. Too itchy for me! Next time, I'll save my pennies and get a nicer place.

Having never stayed overnight in SLO, I found a village of friendly people that love their town and expressed it openly. basicly a place to enjoy all the national store brands, plus all the small town unknown restaurants, and asking the locals, i found one that i had a delicious dinner. I will be stopping and shopping in this very pleasant village again. Now, the for the motel. Just off the freeway is olive st, however look for the santa rosa exit, and you will actually be on olive st, and the motel along with several others, which you might want to check out also. I had no complaints. But I was just staying the night and needed a bed. The village is a few blocks away, go for a pleasant walk and enjoy.
