Overall for the price, the hotel was good. The staff was friendly.
However, I had some issues with the non-smoking room. The blanket on the bed had cigerette holes in it and the towels appeared and felt like they were 5-10 years old.
The balcony slider door was broken and would not close completely which not only let cold air in but traffic noise as well. Most disturbing was when another guest entered my room. Apparently, the room number did not register as occupied in their computer. When they fixed this for the other guest, they inadvertantly turned off my room access as well. I went down for breakfast the next day (stale bagles and bread), I was not able to get back into my room and had to walk outside in the cold to get back to the office to have my key reset.
For the price, I would stay there again, but I would bring my own towels, breakfast, and bolt and latch the door.

I have a love-hate relationship with this place. It's about as cheap as you can stay in the area without being scary... breakfast room is ok (better than HJ)... good strip shopping center, Sears, Shop-Rite with deli, liq stores, Staples, family dining, etc across the street... inside corridors are nice in the winter (better than HJ or RRI). Parking is good. But the ice machine has been broken for years-- yes years. Bathrooms can be grungy. Some rooms can be chilly in the winter. Some climate units blow directly on the bed. Housekeeping guys (yes guys) are great; front desk is pot luck, sometimes great, sometimes rude. Internet access is pot-luck... best bring your own wireless card. It's probably a late 60's property that they try really hard with. It's ok for me, but if my discerning spouse is along, we stay at other hotels. But I keep coming back.

Room is clean, breakfast room is great-husband enjoyed wafflemaker. Room did not smell of smoke, but hallways reeked! Aunt said she could smell the smoke in her room.
