I stayed at both the Travelodge and Best Western and decided to stay at the Frontier Suites on my fourth visit to Juneau, Alaska. What a difference. Large rooms. Full Kitchens. And a staff that cares. Highly recommended ...

I was interested in relocating and accepting a job offer in Juneau. I decided to stay at the Frontier Suites after speaking with a local resident of Juneau. The rooms are very big and clean! The staff is very friendly, caring and accomodating. Big change in some of the horror stories I heard about the hotels in Juneau. Management is great. The staff actually loved their jobs ... what a concept. The refferal was well worth it. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family now traveling to visit me. What a great experience.

Beware of front desk!

After booking with a coupon from a nationally recognized association and given my confirmation number, I was twice given the run around about honoring it and was even told it was "sleazy". In addition, our family members had been trying to reach us by phone and told us they had left countless messages - none of which we received. This hotel is very far from downtown. We were told we got a courtesy shuttle - and then told "no". It was nearly a thirty dollar cab ride to the downtown area or a 45 minute city bus ride. For the price, hassel, and distance, check around before you stay here!
