This is a wonderful place to stay...the hotel was like visiting your favorite relative. My family and I enjoyed our stay and will definately let all of our friends know. We will return to visit again and again...Check it out for yourself whenever your in town.

It was a delightful experience.....and Micha?l has the greatest tips to know where to go and what to do....just ask him about it.....
The room was great, the cleaning ladies are WONDERFUL...All the people at the Clarendon make you feel part of them family....It makes it hard to leave......And in the kitchen with all this YUMMIE foods to choose from....hummmm....The security is great to....and a free parking with some FABULOUS porches....and don'T forget the games...chest, tic-tac-to,checkers.....but choose well you partner.....lol....
The Clarendon Inn is central located..where all the boutiques, activities and more are.....and PLEASEEE.....don'T forget them Ice Cream and fudge store on Market street........
Over all......IT's the place to stay.......

Staying at the Clarendon Inn was a wonderful experience. It is a lovely compromise between a bed and breakfast and a small hotel. It is conveniently located near all downtown activities - waterfront, restaurants, and shopping. And it is an excellent value for the money especially with easy, free parking. the Innkeeper, was fabulous. Very warm and friendly and full of tips to maximize our enjoyment. The continental breakfast was delicious - some of the best Southern biscuits that I have had. The Inn was very quiet; and the bed, very comfortable.
My husband and I highly recommend the Inn.
Some of the other (more negative) reviews are describing another facility. For example, the hotel does not have 8 stories!!! Travel agency should do a better job of making certain that reviews match the correct facility.
