The outside needed painting, elevators bad, linens were scarce, overall not good

The hotel needs renovations really bad. The floors were dirty. The elevators were really slow. The rooms were noisy.

Close to beach, excellent pool, multiple jacuzzi's. Very comfortable room. Our stay was pleasant and most enjoyable.

we stayed here during the Tsunami that was supposed to hit Hilo, lucky for us it was a false alarm; however the staff was very helpful when it came time for evacuation.
