We often stay at Ramada's because the price is great and normally the hotels are similar to a three star. We were very disappointed with this Ramada. We booked it online with the understanding that it was close enough to walk to the Disneyland Park. This is not true. There are also claims that there is a shuttle that picks up guests. While this statement is true, the shuttle service does not belong to the hotel. Iit was a franchise that really did not look like a Ramada. It was basically a motel converted into something that was suppose to be nicer, but failed miserably. The walls were so thin that you could hear everything your neighbor did well into the wee morning hours. Needless to say, we did not get a good rest. The parking is limited. Drive late into the parking lot and you are out of luck. No parking spaces will be left. For some reason this motel did not account for enough parking spaces. Rooms are old, run down and in need of some upgrades. The only bright spot of this hotel is the restaurant located next door (Carrows). The food and service was great. It was hard to understand why Ramada would allow this motel to carry its name. Needless to say, we will not be staying at this Ramada again. While we were in the area, we noticed a very nice Ramada Plaza down the street. This is where we will be spending our money on our next visit to Disneyland.

This hotel is not across from Disney which they state on their ad. My 25 yearold daughter decided at the last minute to join us, and we thought this was within walking distance to Disney and our hotel--it was not! She had to take the bus which was behind schedule 1 1/2 hours the first day. The bus stop is directly in front of a liquor store and was scheduled to run every 25 minutes. She did get a taxi. We did not feel comfortable leaving her there. I was not able to get my money back to change hotels.
The hotel is not new and the rooms were not very clean and the air did not work in the first room. I would not recommend staying in this hotel. The Super 8 Motel is across from Disney and is on the same street as the Cheese Cake Factory, Bubba Gump Shrimp, and the Garden Walk that has a mall with a Imax Theater. If you are looking at vlaue for money and need to keep down your hotel cost, I would recommend this one.

OK, we were looking for a clean place to crash, not far from Disneyland; objective met. Continental breakfast was donuts, waffles, cereal, toast with juices, milk and coffee; good enough for a carb junkie. We were fortunate enough to have driven from Arizona, so we brought with us fruit, sandwich stuff, water, soft drinks, juice, and other foods we could pack into Disneyland to avoid the high prices. The key here is the fridge and micro in each room. A short drive north on Harbor Blvd you'll find grocery stores, etc. to stock up on.
Limited cable, but adequate to catch up on news and sports, and to keep the kids occupied while Mom's getting ready. Don't bother with the shuttle. It is now $4.00 per adult, and $2 per child. Parking is Disneyland is $12 per car, and it's located on Ball Ave, about a mile from hotel. Very efficient parking system.
You can easily view nightly fireworks from hotel. It was what we needed, a cheap place to crash that met our basic needs. It was clean and close. If you want to spend a great deal of time in you're room ... why would you? You're at Disneyland !!!!!!!

I had a horrible experience with this hotel from the minute I booked!!! When we arrived the man at the front desk hardly even knew how to check someone in. When we got into the room the dead bolt was broken, the bathroom vanity light would not work(my husband has contacts!!) and everytime I called to get see if things could get fixed the front desk person said there was nothing they could do..they wouldn't even give us another room and I booked months in advance!!! We had to put a chair in front of the door every night and pull a lamp over to the vanity area!!! The room was clean though and the beds were comfortable...but the room was way in the back where there was no parking so we had to carry all of our luggage, baby playpen, ice chests, and 2 small children up 2 flights of stairs and way down a few hallways!!! I will never go back!!
