Expected more from the Hampton, especially considering the rate!

The King suite was indeed large, but with a few pieces of furniture parked up against the walls, it just didn't feel very welcoming. An absolutely beautiful view of the Bay was the highlight of the time we spent in the room. In the end, the view did little to make up for the extremely poor housekeeping that we recieved. We are not messy people, but traveling with a year and a half old, spending our days at Petoskey State Park on the beach, we tracked in some dirt. Our room was not vacuumed the last 3 days of our 4 night stay, we did not recieve our correct amount of towels, our bed was not changed when we requested it, and to top it all off, housekeeping did not get to our room until after 4:30 on our last night. The front desks explanation was that they were busy cleaning rooms for early check ins (which they certainly did not allow us to do). For the high, holiday rate we paid, we certainly expected more from these folks, they let us down, and forever lost our business.

Good size room, sink outside of bath, great tv, excellant king bed - extremely comfortable , great breakfast bar with eggs and sausage , donuts the works . Room was very quiet

I really enjoyed my stay here, everything was perfect. The swimming pool has to be the best I've seen in a hotel. The only thing missing was a fridge and a microwave (too much food in the local restaurants). Service was great, I would definitely stay in one of these again.
