Would not stay again.

First room was very strong odor of cat/dog urine. 2nd room was just outside from desk, very noisy. I finally got a third room within 1 hour. Rooms are small, bathroom is tiny, very cold, dark, and brick wall. I would not stay again. Hampton Inn, just north across the I-35 is superb compared to this hotel.

We were traveling with dog & child. This was a nice clean hotel with interior hallways and breakfast buffet. I would stay there again.

Pathetic Motel and staff

Do not even think of staying in this motel. Had the worst experience. Not worth for the money. They moved me into a room which was not clean. Then they asked me to move to another room where the lights in restroom were not working. I wanted to talk to the general manager about all this but the staff is even worse. They did not give me his contact info. The staff also did not give any compensation for all this inconvenience. The manager promised to get back in a day with the info on compensation but never called back. I would highly recommend not to consider this motel.

Nice Place... Just Don't Deal With the Staff

The hotel was nice and comfortable; clean and maintained. However the staff was disinterested and unresponsive to our needs. We were there for a wedding, but I am a senior manager of a department with a Fortune 500 Company and picked this hotel based on location, price and the availability of broadband internet so I could keep up with business affairs while traveling. The internet connectivity did not work and we complained to the front desk FOUR TIMES. The first two times, we were given instructions how to fix it ourselves with no offer of support. The second two times we were told someone would be there to fix it, the last of which was before we left for our engagement at 4 PM. When we returned at 10 PM, the problem was not resolved. We received no apologies, offers of resolution or compensation. Comfortable hotel, but the staff was pathetic, to put it kindly.

This hotel would rate excellent if it were located closer to the State Capitol.
