Bring Shower shoes

The front desk help was great. The hotel itself needs a lot of upgrades. The paint, the tile, the walk ways, the towels and wash clothes all show their age.

I had read the reviews and I was not expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised by the look and cleanliness of the room and the friendliness of the staff. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The TV worked well and had a nice selection of channels. I was very comfortable. The dining room was nice and the food was good. The location of the hotel was awesome since it was right near Old Town. My only problem was the hot water was cool and the heater/thermostat didn't work so I felt a little cold at times. I would definitely stay there again.

The adage that you get what you pay for proves true. There was nothing fancy here, but it was a nice clean room with  comfortable beds. The biggest disappointment was that the Internet is dial-up. The lobby has one DSL jack, but it was down for part of our stay. The front desk was very knowledgeable and helpful in recommending things to do as well as answering questions.
