visited this resort june 6-june12 2009. check in was fairly slow with new trainees on the desk. the rooms were very nice but lacking updated flat screen tvs in the rooms. housekeeping was scheduled for tuesday but instead all i got was a bag of clean towels thrown in the kitchen floor. with complaint filed to the houskeeping supervisor no further cleaning ever took place. while out shopping security let someone else into my room because they thought it was theres. they then left, but a bag of theres was on the kitchen counter when i returned. calling a security supervisor they then stated it was a mistake. the breach of my room being secure was a big letdown. the waterpark onsite fees were excessive and the issue of parking is a problem after dinner time. the rating of gold crown by interval international seems to be overrated.
joyous stay

We went here on our honeymoon, loved what we got, loved the studio and the kitchenette. However, got very ticked by the end - we were never told on arrival that it was a time share and we were constantly bothered by phone calls and knocks from one of the staff wanting to push the time share on us. We told her plenty of times that we could not do it due to our schedule and that we were just there on our honeymoon and that we had no interest. She gave us a sob story about how she would get in trouble and written up. We finally gave in because we were sick of being called over and over...and it was stupid. We ended up leaving later than we wanted. It is more like apartment living, but it is a time share after all!
Disappointing

We called one hour prior to our arrival to ensure that the unit was still correct. We'd paid for and been promised a one bedroom with a balcony and a "nature view". When we got there they gave us a studio with no balcony and no view. The unit we ended up with was a one bedroom but had no balcony and the windows overlooked the parking lot. It was late and we were tired and we had spent close to an hour in the lobby fighting for the unit they'd promised, literally shouting over very loud music, so at that point we just gave up. Before entering your unit you enter a common hallway shared by your neighbor. Our neighbors were quite loud. There were construction sounds every morning of the trip. The heater died in the middle of the night one night. This is a busy apartment complex. Not a resort. The indoor waterpark is a gimmick--okay for kids, not worth the time for anyone else. Ate in the lobby restaurant once. Found a weird piece of plastic in my beans. Skip this place.
