I enoyed the hotel and would stay again. I had an upstairs 1 bed queen 'standard room' over parking lot. It was fairly quiet on that side but to get inside corridor room I think you would need a slightly better room grade. I especially liked the brightness of the hotel decor and the great extra-long tub and the good workdesk. Here are the things that you need to consider: --- Hotel has NO ELEVATOR. OK for me but if you have a lot of luggage/bad heart, not a good thing unless you specify ahead of time that you have to have a first floor room. -- Free breakfast is good, but other than that only vending machines or call a delivery service. If you don't have a car, not much w/in walking distance (Wendys) -- As hotel is actually several bldgs, connected on the second floor by covered walkways, etc it is open & breezy in spots, then you go into long corridors. Maybe a bit too open because one corridor smelled a bit the first night of 'feral cat'. I will emphasize that the ROOM was absolutely odor free and I LOVE that the facility is non-smoking. And, I noticed the last morning that the odor seemed to have gone away so I think the staff was on top of things. -- Hotel also has feather pillows/duvets - I had called ahead to have them removed as I'm allergic and they did, remove them and gave me foam pillows and a blanket (no bedspread). -- The room temperature can be a bit tricky - A/C was running but not cooling but when I called they came, unplugged the unit and then when they plugged it in it was fine. -- Service/Staff was wonderfull and for $*+tax great experience

Would stay again

I've been all over and never really know what I'm in for when I get to a hotel. This place was great. Clean hotel and rooms, friendly staff, free parking, and a free breakfast... and not just continental bfast, I mean a lot of food options plus, eggs, pancakes, waffles, bacon, and sausage as well as tons of other food. I would stay here again, hands down a great hotel in sunnyvale!!

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Even my 20 year old who is not easily impressed still raves about the mattress comfort, pool, and continental breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great little gem, very california

I like this little hotel. Its strategically located close to everything and near El Camino Blvd. They have all sorts of nice touches in the room, like a nice radio/cd player, exotic canopy over the bed, soft/firm pillows, colorful art, fancy sink, etc. The free breakfast is not extraordinary, but very nice, and the coffee is pretty good. I like it and would stay here again.
