Great Hotel

We just needed a place to stay on our way to Anaheim. I selected the Suncoast because of it's distance away from the strip (about 10 minutes). We had a super large room and well worth the money. Free valet parking and quick access to the guest elevators from the front desk (only about 30 yards instead of sometimes 100 to 200 to the elevators through the casinos). Check in was good. The clerk didn't really seem to like her job too well but the valet and bell staff were all very helpful. Theatres and bowling as well as an arcade are available but we didn't use them. I will be back.

would stay there again

Clean, comfortable large room with beautiful mountain views. Friendly staff. Only complaint was unexpected $5.00 per day "resort fee" that we didn't know about in advance and $2.00 "operator fee" to take our room service order. Convenient to freeway and major roads. We would stay there again.

We loved this hotel and would certainly stay there again.

The Hotel is away from the strip, which suited us just fine. It is beautiful, clean, comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. We would certainly recommend it to anyone.

Nice rooms

The hotel room was very nice. Very clean, and a large bathroom; great for having three females. Large screen plasma TV was nice. Also a table with four chairs in the corner of the room. We also had an awesome view of the golf course, swimming pool, and the whole valley. It was beautiful! The room was fabulous, but since we are not much into gambling, the casino wasn't the great. It was noisier and smellier than most. The halways were always crowded with "party-goers". We didn't hear much from our room, but it was sure noisy in the halls! I found out later that the Suncoast is known as the "Party" hotel. My daughter has asthma and it was really bad at this hotel. I would recommend the Suncoast for anyone who is not opposed to the noise and smell, but we probably would not stay here again. We ate at the buffet and the food was average.

Suncoast in Summerlin, Las Vegas- I recommend this hotel

The Suncoast is a reasonably priced hotel with oversized rooms and ample bathroom space with 2 sinks. There is no makeup mirror (magnified), so I always have to bring my own. Upon arrival, the front desk was very courteous and quick. Maid service apparently had not quite finished cleaning our room as the floor still needed to be swept and there was still cleaner sprayed on the toilet and on the floor. We called immediately and within minutes the maids came cheerfully to take care of everything very quickly with apologies as well. The beds are comfortable, closets and drawer space is adequate, TV is a nice flat screen. Pool is small and disappointing -they said it was heated year round but I guess they didn't mean it would be heated to a temp that people could actually swim in it. Spa nice and warm. Steakhouse was closed for remodel. Cafe Siena good value and variety for all meals. TGIFridays great service but you can do better for food at Cafe Siena -Fridays served the tiniest bit of fries I've ever seen and there was nothing special about the food, especially for the price.Oyster bar is great -not cheap, but quality food. Bagel shop is fine for breakfast, but Jason's Deli is just down the street for fantastic sandwiches and salads. Breakfast buffet is just so so. For lunch or dinner I would choose Cafe Siena over the buffet unless you just want quantity. I did not try the italian restaurant this time but the last visit we all went there -just mediocre. Love having the theatre right there -real butter on popcorn! Gambling here is great. Dealers etc, are all very friendly -minimums are reasonable. Fantastic bowling alley.
