Nice rooms, nice location

We booked a 7 day family vacation at the Suncoast, April 2009. We had a very spacious, clean room (standard deluxe) at a reasonable price. Liked the location which was easy access to Red Rock Canyon and Death Valley. Used the hotel shuttle to go to the strip. Didn't like having to go through the casino to reach elevators to rooms. It's quite a distance from parking areas to the hotel rooms. Nice movie theaters in hotel also bowling alleys. The pool area was exceptional in appearance and cleanliness. Lots of big towels for guests to use. A good view of a golf course from the hot tub area. Had a delicious Easter dinner at the Cafe Cienna in the hotel. Had a leak in ceiling last night of vacation and were moved to a huge suite (bigger than our house) for the night and they extended our departure time to 3:00 in the afternoon the next day.

Nice large rooms, great pool and spa area, nice movie theater and bowling. Very quiet and relaxing away from the craziness of the strip.

Don't do It!

This hotel is a good 15 minutes from the airport and Las Vegas Strip. Only come to this hotel if all you want to do is gamble in the casino or see a movie or go bowling. THe cocktail waitresses wore skimpy, tacky outfits. To get to the hotel room you have to go through the casino which is filled with smoke. There is no easy or quick way to get from the parking garage to your hotel room. The tvs in the room are nice, but there is limited cable, no movie or kids channels and they charge $13 per movie. You also have to pay about $13 a day for internet access. They say there is room service but there was no information about this in the hotel room, in fact there was no information about any hotel services in the room. When we were there, the pool was closed. On the plus side, the bathrooms were nice and there are many stores and shops nearby including Target and Whole Foods as well as several area restaurants. Bottom line is if you are going to Vegas to sightsee you'd be much better staying on the strip and you can get a better deal there too. I think this ones only for the hard core gamblers.

I really cant say anything bad about the room for $*. the bed was huge, theres a safe and fridge in the room and 42 inch television. Very quiet, spacious, and water pressure was excallent. the room even had a sofa. the only downside was on checkout day, I called for a bell hop and w/in 10 minutes, never showed up. I will always stay here b/c i dont have time for bad experiences. Oh yeah, I love the TGIFriday's .

I live in AZ and I choose this hotel for my family trip. I can believe my eye when I arrive the hotel, just beautiful hotel and nice features. Room was nice and enough space for 3 and nice golf course view and staff was so kind and well trained. I stayed in 6th floor and .tThe only problem was a big noise from gigantic FAN from outside. Buffet was just fantastic, tasty and less cost!!! I would stay in this hotel next time definitely.
