I stayed at the Regency for several visits and I kept coming back because their staff are so wonderful and helpful. Their breakfast buffet provides well for those who want a hot meal of eggs and bacon or those who like oatmeal and fresh fruit. From 5:30 to 8:30 Wednesday thru Saturday nights they have a piano player in their lobby area which speaks well for the atmosphere they provide. The hotel is smoke free inside but they do have a nice outdoor bar area for those who smoke.
The rooms are nicely laid out with a refrigerator and microwave in the small bar area away from the sleeping area. The beds are very comfortable and the room size is well suited for one or two beds. After multiple visits, I can say that housekeeping always does a remarkable job with cleanliness. There is a computer center with two PCs and a printer and the hotel has free wireless in the rooms.
Their exercise room and swimming area are open 24x7 which accommodates both the business traveler like myself and the vacationing family. There is a city walking or biking paved trail, which is very pleasant, along the small river nearby the hotel.
The Regency is in a quiet and safe area conveniently located near Interstate 680's Pacific exit and near good restaurants, such as Ruby Tuesdays, Wheatfields, California Pizza Kitchen and a mile from a large shopping mall and restaurants like Cheesecake Factory and Panera Bread.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly and we would definitely return in the future. If I had any criticism it would be that the bedding is a little outdated, but overall it was excellent!
Nice but Noisy

The Regency Lodge was a comfortable hotel with a spacious pool area and average-size rooms. Room service was delivered within 30 minutes, and the meal was served hot, tasted good and was priced right. We liked the convenient location, just of I-680 in mid-Omaha. The convenience, however, also led to excessive noise from the interstate which was a stone's throw from the back of the hotel. Unfortunately, our room was on the back side. Since the hotel was full with travelers attending a business meeting there, we had no opportunity to switch to a room on the front of the hotel.
We would only stay again if we could be assured a room on the front side of the hotel.
