Stay in Spokane

  • May 20, 2008

We were in town for my daughter's graduation. The hotel had a great location and we enjoyed walking on the Riverwalk and through downtown Spokane. The bed was terrible though. The mattress was lumpy and stained and the sheets did not fit properly but otherwise the room was clean.

Not fancy but price is right

Location is diagonal from the fanciest hotel in town, but at an affordable price. DIY waffles (yum) handy, but carb heavy (toast, bagels, cereal) free b'fast in lobby. Heard another guest complain about street noise and barking dog in adjacent room, quite true. Noisy late night bar action in front of hotel. Micro and fridge in room. Free city WIFI too. A budget choice, not fancy but clean, quite a bit of street/neighborhood noise.

Decent basic hotel

Great location for the event I was attending. Really appreciated the microwave and fridge - saved me $$ on meals, plus they had free breakfast in the lobby each day. Only real minus was the bar next door which was noisy at 1:00 a.m.

My second stay at what is possibly Spokane's best hotel deal was excellent. This time, I was in room 214, a nice wide room with fridge, microwave, and cable t.v. The rooms were cozy with excellent heating on the cold November nights.

The breakfast was top-notch, with hot waffles, danishes, fresh orange juice, and hot coffee. The staff are warm and friendly, and are able to offer some excellent deals on rates if you only ask.

This hotel has a good points program, where you stay ten nights and your next is free. Discounts on stays start after three nights.

Very comfortable and safe. I really like this hotel. Excellent downtown location. Prices start at around $30.

Centrally located budget hotel has more frills than you might imagine. Rooms are smaller, but cozy, and are complete with fridges and microwaves. A very good breakfast is served each morning, which features fresh, real orange juice, and hot, buttery waffles.

Can be a problem on weekends, though, as there is a rowdy bar across the street. Generally, the Rodeway provides a safe, friendly stay at a price that barely cracks the $30 mark per night.
