Family Vacation to Disneyland

The NEGATIVE.....Room was very outdated (not like the picture) but nice. The fridge is extremely small so don't plan on storing much. We had leftovers from dinner that we ended up throwing out after we couldn't fit it in the fridge. We called for another but they failed to bring it until I asked a second time in the morning, which the food was no good by then. Attempted to keep on my workout schedule but that failed after seeing the fitness room with an outdated machine. Plenty of dumbells though and cardio eqiupment. The BUFFET was absolutely horrible and downright expensive (11.75 for a glass of orange juice for two kids under 7 and one adult). The POSITIVE....Great shuttle service, on time and willing to get as many people on, so as not to leave anyone on at a particular time. Beds were very comfortable.

Not a good choice for Disneyland

We spent two nights at the Anaheim Sheraton. Things got off to a bad start when we waited about ten minutes to check-in then we got handed off to a trainee that did even know where our room was. We were sent to the 4th floor for a first floor room. We were also told for the first time that we needed to pay an extra $10 to park our car! The lobby was very attractive but the rest of the hotel looked at bit in need of renovation. There were none of the usually hotel amenities, no free wi-fi, no buffet breakfast, no free coffee or water in the lobby. Water was provided in the room but if you made the mistake of taking a bottle of water you were charged about $4. For a hotel that was competing with other disney hotels, the pool was small and cold, the temperature on the pool thermometer said it was 77, my child became too cold to swim after about 10 minutes. The hotel does provide a shuttle to Disneyland running about every 30 minutes, it is a good thing because it is about a 30 minute walk and the gate on the parking lot never worked properly in the five times I used it. It was permanently up most of the day and twice in morning I had to race out on another car's bumper just to get out. The rooms have small TV (tube, about 20") and the worst reception I have ever seen in a hotel. There was snow on half the channels, I even checked to see if the TV was connected to the cable, it was so bad.

arrived at our hotel and the front desk was very nice to us.the guy gave us our key and said we will have a nice view of the fireworks at night.we went to our room and it had not been cleaned from the ones before us.and you couldnt see anything from our window.went back down and they did give us a nice room that was clean.asked for a wake up call for 430am on our last morning and never recieved one.over all the hotel was nice, the pool was nice and the workers where nice, but the service when we needed it wasnt very good.this hotel really didnt stand out from any other hotel.

A GREAT LOCATION

What a great hotel to bring my granddaughter on her first visit to Disneyland. I have been to different Anaheim area hotels - this is the one that I will definitely rebook. Front desk -management staff - exceptionally helpful. Facilities included a breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurant, a Deli, guest laundry, free shuttle to Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm, WIFI - internet location, these are all the things I look for when traveling. Let's not forget the manicured and meticulous grounds where you can sit, read, relax or just take in a leisure stroll or take a dip in the swimming pool/Jacuzzi during your break from Disneyland. Our room was compatible to a suite with 2 queen side beds large area for the three of us. I can always count on a Sheraton Hotel for comfort, security and cleanliness. thank you
