"Good, clean motel"

We came in late (1am) without a reservation (after a different hotel lost ours). Staff was very helpful. Room was clean and well kept up. Continental breakfast could use an upgrade, however.

Overall this place is ok for the price. Room smelled a bit over-perfumed. Main problem was the noise. My room was next to a service room and staff clamoring around in there at all hours of the night. To run the room fan fulltime to drown out noise means running without the heat. Running the heat means the fans goes on and off so when the fan was off I could hear all kinds of noises. I was very frustrated by being awakened all thru the night. Next time in Grand Forks, I'll pay a little more to stay somewhere else.

Rooms were not thoroughly cleaned. Smelled very stale in rooms, perhaps air freshener should be used. Not terrible just not great, you get what you pay for.
