The WORST I've EVER stayed at!!!

Smoke detector on
tv cabinet, naked wires exposed, lamps not working, silverfish galore, steps not safety marked. Just an awful experience.

After prom, a bunch of friends and I stayed at Desert inn, I will never ever ever stay in this hotel again. walking from the parking garage to the lobby, it smelt like something died and was unbearable. I sat down on the bed and 10 minutes later the back of my legs were broken out in hives. the carpets were not vaccuumed. Bathroom floor was growing mold. the beds were damp from the mildew. There was also urine on the floor of the ONLY working elevator. My boyfriend and I left that same night, we didnt even bother asking for our money back, we just wanted to get the hell out of there.
never again!!!

i came to florida to see my mom, so we went to desert inn, BIG mistake, our rooms smelled and were very dirty. i dont think we even saw a housekeeping member in the three days we were there. my mom had to call several times just to get towels to shower. the parking garage was flooded water coming from underground and we had to move the car to street parking. this place has many fooled, every time we left to eat we counted anywhere from 3-6 or seven housekeepers smoking by parking garage. no wonder why housekeeping couldnt be reached... and someone needs to teach the people at the front desk some manners....and i think they have bed bugs i would wake up itching and still had spots after i came home, so did my mom and sister, people at the desk could care less. they didnt want to hear complaints at all!! i hear the hawaiian inn is a awsome place to stay, next time ill stay there!!!

my son was home from the military and we took him to daytona for a treat. but sorry to say we picked the wrong hotel. when i made reservations they told me that our room was in the court yard and had a microwave and refrigerator, well we checked in and went to our rooms to find no microwave or refrigerator. i had already bought food . so i called the front desk just to be told court yard rooms do not have microwaves or frigs, and i was never told such a thing. the lady that i talked to, was also the one that called me a liar. the bathroom floors are moldy, and could not have been washed in ages. the halls smell of puke, and oh yes the v.i.p. cards they say are good for the bar and grill. and discounted rooms, well that was not true. the hotel is really run down and discusting, and in the middle of the night our air and kitchen light must have popped a circut or something because our room got really hot and smelled awful. so do your self a favor and save your self some thime find another hotel, the olny good thing was the d.j. at the pool . people were sneaking in off the beach to listen to the good music he was playing and once the music was over and went back to the beach there was barely and one at the hotel they must have known what i found out because they were checking out also. the only treat my son got was leaving that hole. and in order for me to get a refrigerator they wanted more money. . never never again..

this hotel is definitely not exactly for families but great for younger crowds who wanna party especially on spring break. ive come here every spring break and a couple new years for like three years now.
