We stayed in a room on the second floor. A foul, moldy smell arose from the carpet as we entered the room. The toilet appeared dirty or not cleaned adequately. Then numerous tiny ants crawled up the nightstand and on the pillow. They moved us to the fourth floor at our request. The front desk stated that they have been having problems with ants in that room and the room next door. The fourth floor room was better but was nothing special. We will never go there again and do not recommend it to anyone.

Room was very nice and spacious. Very clean. Flat screen tv! Even a phone in the bathroom! Considering the price, this was an INCREDIBLE value! Would definitely stay here again!

Room was clean, desk was very helpful with directions,,,,big TV on the wall,,,,would def. stay again

Everything was great at the motel. Just disappointed when I booked I was not told there was a pet fee for each pet. Because of this I won't stay at the Super8 again.
The new TVs are the only 'good'

I am not sure what happened since the last two reviews (July 2007). This place was filthy. The room had a smell that required air freshener to cover up. I have stayed at a few other Super 8's and had very good experiences; an inexpensive, clean, plain room. This experience convineces me to pay the extra $10-15 and get a real room.
The Super 8 in Boone is a good example of this companies goal.
