We loved it here, we thought the villa was wonderful! Had everything we needed and is SO CLOSE to Disney! We had no complaints about anything, was very quiet! Planning on going there in December of 2009 again!

My family stayed here while visiting Sea World. This is a great place to stay especially for families. My husband and I really enjoyed the separate bedrooms compared to a standard hotel room. Everything is provided as far as cooking utensils and laundry facilities which is inside your villa. The grounds are beautiful and the staff was very knowledgeable.

Best Things Nearby:
Disney! Disney! Disney! And, of course, a short drive to International Drive, which includes Sea World and any shopping or restaurant of your choice. There's a grocery store within three miles.

Best Things About the Resort:
Being able to use the resort's amenities, including the hotel's pool and work-out room. The hotel even has a indoor pool. There's also a handful of shops, a beauty salon, and day care.

Resort Experience:
The staff was very nice. The room was very clean and spacious. Marriott's reputation of quality is seen every time you turn around.

Sabal Palms is a smaller resort, so it's very quiet and very relaxing. With just a short walk, however, you can take advantage of the huge hotel complex with many things to do. If you want to spend the money, the golf course is superb and challenging.

I was not very impressed at all. We stayed here the final weekend of our trip. I almost wish we had never moved. Once they found my reservation (a 45-minute process), they put four of us in a room with one double bed. That simply wasn't going to happen. I asked the concierge for directions to a mall nearby -- I was told to either go buy a map or take a cab.

Once we got the right room, however, it was a nice spot. The room was a good size, and overlooked the gardens with a big balcony. We had four in the room, so the bathroom with a separate dressing room came in very handy.

The hotel is in a very good location, and easy to find. It' s a beautiful hotel, but they would do better if they put some of the money they make on rooms into customer service training for their employees.

Sabal Palms

Best Things Nearby:
Easy Access to Walt Disney World Parks. Take a right out of the entrance to Sabal Palms/Marriott World Center and in less than 5 minutes you are in the Disney World area without having passed through a single traffic light.

Best Things About the Resort:
Sabal Palms is within walking distance to the main pool & activity area of the World Center Hotel. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with everything you need.

Resort Experience:
The Sabal Palms is our all time favorite place to stay with our four kids for a Walt Disney World Vacation. The proximity to Disney is ideal. I can't tell you how many nights we would leave one of the Parks heading back Sabal Palms and one of our tired kids would say "how long until we are back to our room?" and I would reply, "just look out the window." You could see the tower of the Marriott hotel within minutes of leaving any of the Disney Park areas. That is such a relief at the end of a long Disney day.

The rooms at the Sabal easily accomodate comfortably a family of six. The washer dryer, fully stocked kitchen and breakfast bar area are essential to us enjoying our vacation together with enough space for everyone to relax and enough practical appliances available to clean clothes or prepare healthy meals. In addition, The main pool at the Marriott was just a 5 minute walk from our room at the Sabal. You could take a free shuttle offered by the resort but we choose to walk without having to wait for the shuttle. The main pool is beautiful. The largest in central Florida. A waterslide for the kids. Well placed waterfalls that make relaxing poolside possible as the sound of the waterfall effectively drowns out the noise of a busy pool full of kids. The kids activity area is clean and well stocked with toddler items and arts n crafts. There is an activity every hour throughout the day for kids to participate in from Bingo, to Treasure hunts, Tye-dye tshirt making, puzzle hunts, pool games..on and on and on. There are pool toys, floats and sand toys free of charge for resort guests to sign out. There are plenty of lounge chairs and even hairwraps by the pool. There is also great poolside bar and food service that is very reasonable.

The proximity of Sabal Palms to this Oasis pool area just outside of Disney is what keeps us coming back again and again.
