Amazing resort

Our family of 20 coming from 4 different states enjoyed three 2 bedroom villas in the Fountains II area. All three had been recently refurbished. They had flat screen TVs and granite counter tops. Very luxurious. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We didn't cook much but served up a lot of breakfasts and take out from the restaurants both on site and in the vicinity. We stayed a week and not until the last 2 days did we feel we finally knew the facility and all it had to offer. I'd advise anyone to sit down to a cup of coffee on your first morning and go through the weekly events folder that you'll get at the front desk. Also walk around or drive with the map in your pocket. Don't hesitate to use the resort's transportation van. It was always available and never took more than 5 minutes to arrive. Be careful of the "welcome package". It's the local phrase for the sales pitch to buy into the "time share". Our contact was well aware that we would only attend a presentation for the gift but he still encouraged us to attend. In fact he made a promise of a free gift that doesn't exist. two hours wasted. The business center is very expensive if you can't charge it to the business. We had a teenager with us who needed to submit homework and we spent $6.00 just to email three documents.

Resort was beautiful, room was clean and Staff was helpful.Activities and amenities abound within the resorts boundaries. The only negative was the constant attempt to get us to attend a timeshare meeting
Less Than Expected

The hotel is nice however you never get a straight answer about anything. When we went to check in the room was not ready and they didn't know how long until it would be. The pool was not clean there were things floating all through out. The items that we purchased on the property were vey pricey. I also didn't like being afraid of going in the lobby for fear of beng harassed by a salesman trying to get me to purchase a time share, which was then followed by an early morning phone call about the timeshare.

If you like 8:30am Wake-up Calls (whether you want them or not), then this is the place for you! We booked this resort with a package deal through an online travel agency, having no idea it was a timeshare as well. Though the resort looks as beautiful as it pictures, its looks weren't worth our harassment. We checked in at about midnight on a Thursday, got to our room (which we were very pleased with) and got our groceries for our stay. We got back to our room at 2am and were ready to sleep in as we were on vacation. Our phone rang at 8:30 and woke us up to a lady cheerfully asking us if we were "morning birds" and that Sheraton had a complimentary gift package for us. We were a little annoyed to be woken up so early on vacation, but thought it SO nice we were to get a package. We went to pick this package up, which turned out to be shampoo samples, coupons and this wonderful opportunity to have free tickets or money if we listened to a time-share presentation. We told them we were not interested and were called every subsequent morning at 8:30 (after getting home nearly 3am at night). When we didn't answer the 8:30, we received a "snooze alarm call" at 10:30. That time we told them we were sick of this and were going to call BBB if they didn't leave us alone. ...Our last morning we got to sleep in.
