This is a great hotel easily accessible off of Interstate 40. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The quality of furniture and decor is very good quality. Overall, it is a beautiful facility. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We called while driving to Amarillo and were able to get a very competivie rate for two suites. We were traveling with 4 children and needed extra space. The room was very nice and the lobby was beautiful. Our 6 year old ordered a movie that he didn't watch and the hotel staff was very helpful and removed the charge from our bill. The hot breakfast was filled with many options, we are not fans of powdered eggs and that was what was served. We had no complaints and plan to return to Amarillo in the next month or two for a weekend get away and plan to stay at this hotel!

I have stayed in this hotel numerous times in the last two years, and I always enjoyed it. However, about mid-2007 the facility services started to decline; to the point where my January 2008 stay was the last. The weather during my January 2008 stay can be best described as bitter cold. No heat in the hallways (staff said it was broken) for 5 nights. No fire in the dining area fireplace any night. The ultimate in water-saving shower heads - just a trickle of water with the shower on full blast.
In summary, a very attractive facility with impressive decor, but being slowly and surely run into the ground....
Penny Pinching Foolish

In an effort to save pennies this hotel fails to meet the needs of their quests. Dishwashers are run with partial packs of soap. Several times housekeeping put dirty dishes back in the cabinets. Used bandaids were around the pool for days even after being reported to the manager. The housekeeping manager and maintenace man played basketball while I restocked towels for the pool. Staff often ate prior to the close of the evening meal and then guests were told that there was no more food. Hostesses for breakfast and the evening meal watch the clock and remove food immediately at closing time with no regard for guests. The final straw which prompted us to change hotels for the remainder of our stay was my being yelled at and follwed down the hall by the housekeeping manager. I was going to inform the manager that our room would be cleaned contrary to the note that had been put under our door prior to 9:00 a.m. stating that our room would not be cleaned because of the "Do not disturb" sign. All complaints were stated to the manager who acted sympathetic but no actions were taken to remedy the problems. It is sad to have a hotel with the ammenities that this one has but have such a pitiful staff!

My wife and I stayed here on our way to N.M. It was in a great location off of I40 with lots of great restaurants and shopping. We stayed in a suite with a kitchenette. The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. The bedroom area was a little small but the living area was spacious and would be great for a family with kids. This would also be a great hotel if you were staying for several days because of the kitchenette with stove and refrigerator.
We would definitely stay here again.
