This hotel had the best pillows I've ever slept on. I had a view of the bay from my window that was amazing, the shuttle service was great with friendly drivers who took us anywhere we wanted in the general area, the night scene was great. The location was just wonderful. The service great.
Great view and convenience

The Holiday Inn is very convenient to downtown, everything is 10-15 minute walk, beautiful view of the bay. Nice little town, great food and shops, take a bay cruise if you have an extra couple of hours. Would have liked to have a couple extra days.

We were very happy with our stay -rooms clean, good dining, staff was most helpful and very friendly, location was great and the view just fabulous !! Will definately stay here again...close to everything.

The view was incredible. Walking distance to many great restaurants and attractions. A continental breakfast would have been a great addition.

Holiday Inn by the Bay, Portland ME was a beautiful hotel. Our room overlooked the bay and was stunning at night with the lights shining from boats on the water. Food was very good, had room service one night and the veal dish was excellent. Internet access in the room was useful and I was impressed with the friendliness and helpful suggestions of the front desk staff, re: restaurants, directions, etc. We would definitely recommend the hotel highly.
