Not a Radisson experience

We stayed here after a tour of the Kennedy Space Center. It was very quiet and not busy, which is nice. The general condition of the hotel was average at best. The elevator had a horrible odor. Ice maker in our building did not work. Room was a suite and OK, nothing special. Bed was nice, selecting our sleep number! Pull out couch was bad for the teens, however. And no towel racks in the tiny bathroom, or even by the sink?? Pool was good. The worst part was the restaurant... we ordered 4 different dinners and each one was very poor. From the undercooked bread to the nearly raw shrimp under a bland tomato sauce... way over priced and tasteless. Staff was good in spite of everything.

This hotel was quite nice. The room was exactly as shown in the pictures posted online, the staff friendly and helpful. The sleep number bed was not my favorite, but my husband thought it was great so I think it depends on the person. Transportation to and from the port was efficient, and parking for free while on your cruise was a bonus.

Even after booking at the wrong Radisson, the Radisson we intended accommodated us with a room at the same rate. The hotel is fabulous and RIGHT ON THE BEACH!!!!! The staff was great and with a heated pool even going to the Atlantic side of FL you can still enjoy warm water - the Ocean is still too cold to swim without a wetsuit. 10 FINGERS UP!!!! :-)
Great place to stay before a cruise

The pictures don't do this place justice. This is a great place to stay! We stayed here before our cruise and took advantage of the shuttle service to the ship. The beds are extra soft and staff are wonderful. The pool is the best thing. It even better than the pictures.

It was like arriving at an amusement funhouse attraction, security was one dude and a nightstick. I had my young daughter with me and kids were banging on our door at 3 am (before a cruise) after speaking with the lobby staff and manager they said they could do nothing and referred me to travel website who did even less to help me!
Great if going on a cruise the next day...terrible to stay and enjoy! Ohhh and the sleep # bed was like sleeping in a pool on the rubber air mattress!
