Great hotel in a great location

This hotel is just a couple miles from the BTV airport, so very convenient for those early morning flights. The room was very well appointed and the bed extremely comfortable. There are nice flat screen tv's and the showers had great water pressure (these are my two most important amenities). Overall a great value.

never again

facilites and accommodations were okay, in need of some cleaning and maybe a coat of paint. the elevator was frighteningly shaky. however, when there was a mistake made by the sheraton with the bill and charge to my card, there was nothing done by the staff to remedy the situation, despite the great inconvenience and charges incurred by me. definitely NOT worth the hassle and rudeness!

Room for improvement

Staff , room and shuttle services were GREAT! They really made us feel welcome, offering to go the extra mile to make sure we had a good stay. Beds were like sleeping on a cloud! BUT, our elevator landing had a bad case of mildewed carpeting. Very strong and objectionable smell. Rest of hotel seemed fine. Pool supervision was non-existent. Nice pool/hot tub, but signs everywhere stated no unattended children in pool, and NO children under 16 in hot tub. We wished someone could keep an eye on things in that area. We wanted to use the hot tub, and thought about calling staff to get the kids out, but after all the young kids playing in it we didn't feel like soaking in pee anyway. This was a romantic getaway for us, and the pool/hot tub put a crimp in our stay. We don't feel it's our place to police the pool/tub. They should have staff, or at least a call button in the pool area so we could summon them wiithout having to go to the front lobby in our swimsuits to get them. Resteraunt was nice, but food was "blech" I ordered a grilled chicken BLT, and my chicken not only tasted "old", but also like it had been boiled to thaw it out, and then only grilled to flavor it. It was awful. :oP Overall, it's a very nice hotel, but for the money we expected a LOT better.

Check-in and -out were smooth and professional. The room was fine for the price, and the restauraunt and other facilities good values. This is a good hotel to stay at when visiting Burlington.

"Great location, wonderful pub style restaurant with good inexpensive food as well as a more refined restaurant option if you choose. The large indoor pool area was well heated, with 2 hot tubs and a nice big pool. The rooms were very nice and comfortabley decorated, and extra clean. We came to ski and used the hotel as our base to ski at Stowe- Approx 50 min drive, Smugglers notch (The best) Approx 45min drive, and Bolton valley approx 20 min drive."
