The hotel was a very good value for the location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is good for visiting the northern end of the Everglades and Big Cypress National Preserve. We would definitely go back if we are in the Miami area.
It was good, but of course there's a but.

Now I do want to start off with the fact that the room was very clean. Although I saw a bunch of Ants on the kitchen top, which was my only room complaint. I don't see why any hotel room of that nature would cost more then $80 a night. I mean the pricing is always what kills me. I reserved the room because first off I thought for $128 per night, Still I think it's too pricey. Would I recommend it , yes I would, but seriously these prices get me upset. It's not like I was there to organize the place and live there. These hotel chains should start charging a little less, they are overpricing things bad. Ok so what did that include, a room with a kitchen, a queen bed, and you were allowed to get new towels but you had to go downstairs to the reception area and ask for it. Another thing is no room service, it's an extra $10 per day if you decide to get room service. You have a couple of places to eat around that hotel, so eating is no problem. I liked the place, but please prices GO DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great

I was hestitant to stay here after the low reviews it received, but it was absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. Everything is around it! Me and my husband visits Florida every March and we will be back!

I looked for a hotel nearby Jackson Memorial Hospital with good rates. WHAT A FIND! Most reasonable rates and MOST importantly, QUIET! I was there during peak of Spring Break (and on a weekend). Never heard a thing. Asked for top floor (although smoking floor, I brought a candle) so I didn't have elephants tromping above me. No slamming doors, ice machine, or elevators noises. Rooms nice, staff VERY courteous and helpful. Do yourself a favor, stay here it the location fits your needs!
