Great hotel. Have stayed several times before. This stay better than last. Beds comfy, rooms large. Separate living room with separate TV. Needs microwave although there IS one available at the front desk breakfast area. Breakfast was great and included hot waffles.
Only complaint this time was the temperature of the spa and that it needed an antifoaming agent.

Rooms comfortable, beds excellent (I wanted to take one home) Nice touch with the 5 little pillows instead of 2 bigger ones. NEEDS MICROWAVE. We had to go to the breakfast room in the lobby to warm up leftovers. AC did not work well and did not cool "living room" at all. We had a fan which helped a lot. After reporting the AC problem we were called at 3:30 AM and asked if we wanted it fixed then. The maintenance guy had just got in from out of town. We declined at that hour. Rooms are dark and in need of better lighting. Bedroom would be great for someone who works nights. Fixtures very dated but operable. Toilet had slight leak at the bottom. Ring replaced and still there was a small puddle in the morning. Might have been condensation? Staff very pleasant and helpful. AC never did work right although maintenance tinkered with it twice. This was our third stay and we would stay again. Great value for the price.
Unique room setup Great Getaway for the price!

I took my children to Pigeon Forge for a long weekend. I was pleasently surprised at the uniqueness of the room setup. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, clean rooms lots of television channels. Nice Indoor pool with jacuzzi although the outdoor pool did have quite a few bugs at the bottom. The rooms do need a little touching up (paint, patching) If we had a problem it was fixed immediately. I was very surprised at the friendliness of the "ENTIRE" staff including housekeeping. Everyone was always very pleasant. I would definitly make it a point to stay there again. I also noticed the "softness" of the towels. I haven't even had soft towels in a resort that I paid $* a night for. Please look at your bill upon checkout we were charged a $* a day for the "safe" which never even opened. I'm not sure if this is standard billing?

The hotel was good but the beds were uncomfortable and the heater in our room ran constantly so you were either too hot or had to leave it off and then get up in the middle of the night because you were too cold.

Many little things in room were broke like vanity coming up and stained couch. Can barely see "river". Someone put shampo in whirlpool everyday. Power went out and 3 people were stuck in elevator. Far from DollyParton Parkway. Go to Pigeon Forge 3-4 times a years and would not recomend.
