We loved being right by the Pike Street Market. What a wonderful spot! They park your car for you but it's worth it to be right in the middle of it all. The hotel was very clean, the help was very courteous and willing to help. We would stay there again in a minute!
Great location and very accommodating and clean hotel

located steps from the Pike Market place. Great Restaurants in area. The Pink Door nearby great Italian type with music and outdoor eating area. Elliott's a seafood restaurant located on pier 56 within walking distance of hotel was very good. Hotel has a 5th floor deck area to enjoy view of the bay with taking your own wine and or beer to sit and enjoy the view. Staff very friendly. Hotel very clean and rooms were great. Would stay here again when in Seattle. Hint, buses are free in this area to go to other areas of the city.
Great hotel, but didn't follow through on services offered

My hubby and I stayed at the Inn at the Market because of its location near the cruise ships, and due to its central location in downtown Seattle. We stayed at the Inn prior to leaving on a cruise to Alaska, and the location was excellent. We loved how the Inn is centrall to all activities in Downtown Seattle, and were able to walk everywhere we wanted to, as we have no physical limitations. Our room was great, and the bed was very, very comfortable. The water pressure was also great for showers. There is an area on the 5th and 6th flloors to go out on and enjoy the view of the waterfront and Pike Market Place. Speaking of the Market Place, it is only 1/2 block from the hotel, so the location is awesome.
Our only complaint is the hotel not following through on their offer of the use of a Town Car. When we checked in, our bell man said the hotel had a Town Car which could drive us to various locations in downtown Seattle (for free). We tried to use this service on three different occasions, and each time they had some type of excuse. The lamest excuse was when we wanted a ride to where our cruise ship was leaving from. We wanted a ride at 11:00 a.m. and cruise guests can't board till approximately 1:00 p.m. Welll, when we asked, they said the port area was too busy, when we knew otherwise due to us getting down there so early. If you're not going to follow through on a service, don't offer it in the first place, as then guests will not be disappointed!!

My wife and I booked this hotel not knowing what to expect. The outside of the hotel was not overly impressive, but the location and the description of it caused us to take a chance. We are so glad we did. We arrived in Seattle before noon on the day of our stay. The friendly staff were not entirely ready for us (check in is at 4pm), but they not only immediately gave us a room but an upgrade! They explained that they like to sometimes do this - particularly on weeknights - so that guests have a good experience. Our experience was incredible. The valet service is very good as is the service from luggage handlers. The front desk folk are eager to help and continually are seeking input on how to improve. The elevators are very fast (this is not an issue for me, but I've read reviews of other hotels where this is important to some). This hotel has a great rooftop deck with a fantastic view; unfortunately in this case, the hotel's close proximity to the water made it cold, breezy, and rainy.
Cozy decor, great views, immaculate rooms and hallways made this stop exquisite and romantic. In two decades of a significant number of hotel stays, I've never slept in a more comfortable bed.
Several spoke highly of the room service, but we did not try it. There are many places to eat nearby. Part of the charm of this place is its close proximity to the Public Market. It is truly a gem of a place. This place for a single night's stay at the front end of a vacation became a cozy place for a romantic getaway in the heart of the city.

This hotel is just beautiful. It's a boutique hotel that is 1/2 a block from the Market. The rooms are clean and big and the staff is super friendly. The front door is tucked in the middle of a courtyard that gives you sense of peace and quiet in a downtown area. Free wireless Internet access is a bonus for business travel. The hotel has a rooftop area to sit and relax, read a book and watch the ships travel in and out of the bay. Just beautiful
