I loved the two-bedroom unit we had with a view of the golf course outside our patio. My children had two beds in their room and their own bathroom. We had the master bedroom, which was real sweet. There was everything you need for a week and then some.
The other part to this was that I had booked a vacation home for my friends through RCI, and they were 10 minutes away from us, so we were together and everyone had a blast. The resort on a whole was very nice, peaceful, and beautiful, and it gave us an all-around great experience for a first vacation.

A shuttle service runs the entire resort every 20 minutes, so big kids can get from place to place without hitching a ride with the adults. There are paths for roller blading, jogging, or walking, and a fitness area with machines. The West Village Pool Complex also has a playground and kid's pool, and makes a great place to hang out after check-out and while waiting to head to the airport. The resort is really spectacular and a great time for families.

Our two-bedroom unit is always perfect. Everything you need is there. We usually start by driving into Kissimmee to purchase any needed supplies, groceries, refreshments, etc. Once back at the resort, we very much enjoy lying by the pool side, listening to live music and sipping on favorite drink. Later, we take a dip in the pool to refresh before dinner. The resort has beautiful restaurants right on the property. After dinner, we take in one of the many shows nearby. Our favorite is Arabian Nights. Back at the resort we soak in the hot tub or take a swim before taking our evening stroll along Orange Lake. When we return to our unit, we can enjoy a nice glass of wine and sit on our screened-in patio looking out over the lake. One thing is for sure: the days spent at Orange Lake sure go by quickly. If you haven't been, you must!

This was the first time I had planned a family reunion through RCI. My family members are not affiliated with RCI or any timeshares, and they were really impressed. They wanted to know when we all could come back and do it again. Our stay here at Orange Lake Resort will be an everlasting memory for us and our children.
