Friendly, helpful and convenient - would definitely stay here again

My family of five stayed at the Courtyard the last week of April, 2009. To summarize, it was an excellent value, and the kids loved the pools, but the interior of the hotel needs some updates.
There were two full-size pools open until 11 pm, plus a kiddie-pool and a beautiful hot tub. The pool areas were well-lit and new-looking with gorgeous landscaping and an ample supply of towels. There was also a nice playground, an arcade, and many other extras. We also loved that our room had a balcony, where we ate breakfast every morning. Plus all the hotel employees were friendly and helpful.
The only drawback here is that the carpet in the halls is shabby, and looked like it needed to be vacuumed the whole time we were there, and the walls could use a washing in some areas. The sink in our room was also cracked. If they fixed these things, it would make the hotel so much nicer.
But considering our room was only $* per night, I still felt like we were getting a great deal.

The hotel staff was very helpful and accomadating. The hotel was centrally located to Disney World along with many food choices in the area. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling with children!

We had a lovely time at this hotel, contrary to some of the other reviews. The management was very friendly, upon showing our Marriot card at check-in we were even given a complementary breakfast, the beds were comfortable, and room was very clean.

there must have been some miscommunication between the hotel and online travel web site .I booked a king showed up to a double. After some lenghty discussion with hotel's front desk person who informed me that online travel website has never visited the hotel so she did not understand how they could be discribing rooms.-i finally talked my way into a king. But i might have been better off with double cause i got some king stuck in some corner with a noisy air condition and the cheapest hotel room i had ever seen. Could not be upgraded to the room online travel web site promised because the hotel was fully booked. Descriptionon web page does not match the hotel at all. It was my birthday the weekend we stayed there-after seeing the room it was not a good start to my birthday. Thank God my husband and toddler was there to cheer me up. By the way did not see a kiddies pool. Carpet was so dingy i did not want my son to play on it nor even walk on it without shoes and socks. Worst hotel experience ever.
