DON'T STAY HERE!

My mom, sister, and I were hoping for a relaxing girl's getaway at this "resort" and all we got was a big, disappointing slap in the face. The man at the front desk was AWFUL - made us wait at least 10 minutes before even addressing us! When we FINALLY got to our room, it was FILTHY. There were 2 holes in the door leading to the bathroom...the upholstery on the patio chairs was shredded...cigarette burns on the carpet...holes in the ceiling where vents were supposed to be. NOT TO MENTION the fact that when we got to our room - the door was WIDE OPEN. Save your time and money - this place isn't worth a penny of the $* a night that they are charging. We demanded our money back and went on to St. Simons Island. If you're looking for a quaint place to stay that is close to the beach, try the St. Simon's Inn. It's much more for the money!

Old and Worn

Roof above front entrance needs repair. The rooms are old, chips in walls, furniture worn, shower water cannot be regulated - water changes from hot to cold and back without warning. Rooms marginally clean, light bulbs burned out. Will not stay here again.

"This was our first trip to Jekyll Island. We purchased a family package, and enjoyed the convenience of the restaurant on site. The rooms were clean, but the "kitchenette" was limited to a small fridge and microwave. Rooms need to be updated some, but overall the resort and the island were a nice surprise. I will return. "

We stayed for 5 days and the place was dirty, old, roaches, poor service. Rooms outdated pool with cracks the deck was in poor condition as was the landscaping. Love Jekyll but will not stay here again. It's Dirty not worth the price.
