There were unbelievable views from the 64th floor, but dreadful service let this new property down. Too few lifts led to delays of up to 30 minutes to get to the lobby on Sunday morning, and too few staff meant a further delay of half an hour just to check out.
When told the oven didn't work in the brand-new Miele-equipped kitchen, I was greeted with an "Oh well, some of these things are yet to be sorted out." At $495/night, I want them working now!
As well, we were harrassed about 10am checkout time even though I advised reception that I had a business meeting at 10am. The car park is a labyrinthine invitation to hit a pillar.
However, the location is excellent, and the rooms (at least on the upper levels) are generous and comfortable. When we visited relatives on the "low rise," a studio apartment was hardly bigger than a dog box.
