If you're looking for a resort destination, forget it. If you're looking for a place to "hang your hat" while you explore the east bay consider this Quality Inn. This turned out to be the perfect place for my needs (visting a college student child). It's easily accessible from the freeway, and close to the airport. This was greatly appreciated for my 6:15 am flight back to the east coast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The landscaping is attractive and well tended. The room was clean, quiet and came with some perks I wasn't expecting... microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, "down" comforter and plenty of poufy pillows. I would stay again.
surprisingly good quality for someone on a budget

I was surprisingly pleased with the quality of this hotel. It has a good location (near the Oakland Airport, near strip malls with plenty of restaurants and a WalMart, and near the 880 freeway). The room was clean, quiet, and had a lot of good amenities efficiently provided - free wireless Internet that was FAST and problem-free; a refrigerator, hairdryer, etc. The only thing I thought was lacking was a towel bar at the sink area. I had to keep putting my damp towels in the bathroom after using them at the sink, which was somewhat inconvenient. The bed was very comfortable - down (or faux-down) pillows and everything! I felt safe and would stay here again.
Decent motel

This place was clean with limited amenities. It is a motel. The beds are not as comfortable (a bit soft) as higher-end places. Lighting is a bit dim. But it's a decent place to stay if you want to spend the night by Oakland Airport for very little money.

WOW! The front desk staff is top notch. Friendly at ALL hours of the day. Housekeeping very nice and accomadating. Clean room, good shower, pretty quiet cant really hear neighbors. Recommend!!
