Best Cold Vacation Ever

This was probably the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in. The breakfast was surprisingly decent. Biltmore was close by and beautiful beyond belief. The trees were stunning and the Blue Ridge Parkway was amazing... we traveled North up to Mt. Mitchell (the highest point). The observation deck at the top of the mountain was being renovated, so we didn't actually make it to the highest point- a little disappointing, but the drive was cool (unexpected tunnels, blue ice, etc.). Asheville was a hip little city. Jack of the Wood had a band and loads of characters. Best cold vacation ever!

Our hotel was easy to get to from the interstate which made it convenient for traveling around Ashville, NC. The staff was polite and very helpful. In fact, we dropped our cell phone near the pool when we were departing. They contacted us to tell that they had our phone and mailed it to us. We would definitely stay there again.

Hotel is clean, lovely hand paintings on the walls making you feel welcome. Staff friendly enough. Mattresses and pillows very uncomfortable. Parking lot is extremely narrow. Breakfast very good! Might stay there again if there was nothing else available closer to downtown.
