They only had one cabin left for the week we came and it was a one-bedroom. We took it and were greatly suprised. It was newly remodeled with a great vaulted ceiling. Cable TV, a new large refridgerator and a microwave oven. It even had a jucuzzi tub in the bathroom. Oh, and a fireplace that was built in the 1920's.
The boys didn't mind sleeping on the couch. It was a little cramped for the 4 of us, but it would be perfect for a romantic getaway. We saw some other cabins and they were nice as well. The lodge had activities for us every day, and the bingo was the best we've ever seen. We ended everyday with an ice cream treat (the malts are great) in the historic lodge.
A fishing boat, pontoons & jetskis were available for rent. The beach was great -- very sandy with no sign of weeds. Parking was tight, but mostly because not all guests knew how to park trailers. There was a bait shop & convenience store across the street. Oh and there was a mini golf course, which was simple but fun.
