Very nice little hotel. The workers at the front rest were great. We would stay again.
Quaint and clean but small

Hotel was quaint, out of the way location, clean but needs some TLC and is very small. Staff tried to answer questions and be helpful but everything they told us was wrong (which trolley or bus to take, how far away things were, average price, etc.) - do your own research. Breakfast was oatmeal, bagel or danish w/juice, milk and coffee - nice to have at hotel. Bed was extremely comfortable - take a small fan to drown out street noise and ask for interior room since you're close to hospital. Good value for the money but don't expect chain style or big hotel.

We would stay again. Rooms were all decorated in 1906 style and amenities were excellent. Room had a coffee maker, refrigerator and a microwave. The only oddity was an EXTREMELY noisy neighbor. The hotel management took care of the issue immediately! Kudos to them. The breakfast buffet was simple but still appreciated! Also, Nob Hill is a very good area, two blocks from a cable car stop and there are very few panhandlers.

I stayed just one night at the hotel while visiting my nephew in San Francisco. The rooms were exceptional, well furnished, nicer even than the photos on travel website. My bathroom was small but exceedingly clean and I slept like Mama Bear in a comfy, cozy bed. I have the pleasure of recommending this small hotel.

The Nob Hill hotel is a great place to stay. The rooms are small, but who spends time in their room while visiting San Francisco? The decor is fun, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the facility is clean. The location is also fabulous -- within a short bus ride or 10 minute walk of Union Square and only a few blocks from Van Ness Ave. The free wireless and breakfast are a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and to anyone else visiting the beautiful city of San Francisco!
