Great location. Excellent service. Liked the soda and popcorn every afternoon. Breakfast was ok. Room was not quite as clean as we would have liked, but I would stay again.

For the price it was super.Stayed for the week, to visit my duaghter with new grandbabygirl,. I have to say the service was great,The lady that cleaned our room, was fantastic, very quiet, you cant hear the folks above you or next to you, I would have like to have had hard boiled eggs for breakfast,, still they had peanut butter, protein, for my well balanced diet. will stay again when i come back. the staff all in all was awesome. Beds were soft, just wonderful. I was concerned about my truck. That too was awesome, parking lot was secure enough for me. We were very well acomodaded, my mom cant climb stairs or walk too much so it was good we were on 1st floor. Thank you so very much
Nice staff, but small and noisy rooms

The room with one queen bed was small, the a/c took forever to cool the room, you could hear the train and a lot of traffic noise. It was okay, but not sure if I would stay there again.
Very nice stay

This was the first time I had ever booked some reservations on line, so I was kind of concerned at first. I spent a couple of days reviewing all the feedback from several hotels I was considering and this one was the one with the best reviews. I was very satisfy with the entire stay and I would definetly stay there again. For the money I think it's a great deal, the room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was nice and clean, we all enjoyed it, and let me tell you the "free" softdrinks in the evenings really come in handy. The breakfast area was excellent in my opinion as well as the food. If I had to say something negative just so it won't seemed like they're paying me to say this, I would say that the hotel was kind of far from where we were going wich was Sea World, one of the waffle irons was not working right, but to me was not a big deal, I never saw a big crowd in the dinning area anyways, besides they got a new one the following day and the small refrigerator in the room didn't seemed to cool properly. But to me that's just very minor stuff and it would not keep me from going there again, there is no such thing as a perfect hotel, I was very, very pleased with everything and if I happen to go back to San Antonio I will stay there.

We selected this hotel because of past reviews and it did not let us down. The rooms were very clean and the staff was VERY friendly and helpful. We were always greated with a smile and a good morning at the breakfasts. There was a good variety of foods for the entire family - Cereals, Muffins, Engllish muffins, Bagels, Yogurt, Fruit, and a "make-it-yourself" waffle station just to mention a few items. In the evenings there are FREE sodas and popcorn. Just stop by the lobby and help yourself. The pool was clean except for some flower petals that had fallen off some of the nearby bushes.
You can hear the trains occationally from across the highway. If you are right by the pool (as we were) you will hear the normal voices and noises, but it closes at 10pm.
The front desk recommended a great mexican resteraunt JANITZO - the best I have ever eaten at. It was only a few blocks away and was MUCH cheaper and had much better food than Casa Rio at the River walk.
We felt very safe at this hotel with our three kids (4,6,&9). It was centrally located for our activities - Riverwalk, Sea World, & Schlitterbahn. We had a great trip!
