Nice budget hotel for the price

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com

Quote: Nice and clean hotel! Rooms are clean and comfy, though room facilities are about 20 years old. The ancient fridge was noisy at night, had to unplug it to sleep well.

Tired

  • 1 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • April 14, 2011
Quote: I was tired when I arrived at the Arena Hotel, but not as tired as my room was. It was dingy, dirty, and ... TIRED. The whirlpool tub was permanently stained (dirty looking), and not something I'd SIT in to take a bath. There was hair (not mine) on... Read the full Arena Hospitality Hotel review

This hotel is a bit of a mixed bag.

  • 3 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • April 13, 2011
Quote: Kind of a quaint old, bed-and-breakfast atmosphere. Linens do need to be replaced though, getting old. Also, some of the locals hanging around the front patio/plaza area could be classified as "dubious" in nature, at best.

Perfect for HP Pavilion Events

  • 5 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • April 13, 2011
Quote: Stayed at the Arena Hotel to watch the SAP Open at the HP Pavilion and it was perfect. Great breakfast, met the Yonex reps, and easy walk to watch the tennis matches. Thanks!

Great deal.

  • April 12, 2011
Quote: This hotel offered a great deal on a suite for an extended stay. The kitchenette, fridge, full breakfast, and self-serve hotel laundry made it very economical. Shops and restaurants were conveniently located nearby. The room facilities were adequate... Read the full Arena Hospitality Hotel review

Great deal for the money

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • April 12, 2011
Quote: This hotel is close to the San Jose Pavillion and has convenient shops close by. The cost of the room includes a buffet breakfeast with a wide variety of choices. The staff is very helpful if you have a problem. I would reccomend this hotel.

Yay parking

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • April 5, 2011
Quote: This is the best price we could get with parking close to downtown. There was parking, it is best suited for smaller cars or people who can maneuver into compact spaces. There were spaces for larger vehicles. The main negative was we had to walk... Read the full Arena Hospitality Hotel review

Not a weary traveler's preferred hotel

  • 2 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • March 31, 2011
Quote: This hotel is marketed as a 3 star. I am not sure I would go that high. Maybe a borderline 2.5 star. While the hotel looks nice in the lobby, the room we were in was well worn. The carpet felt like a motel 6 grungy carpet. the bathroom fixtures were... Read the full Arena Hospitality Hotel review

Shows some age; nicely decorated lobby

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • February 19, 2011
Quote: The carpets are a little worn, stained in some places. Paint is fading and chipping is spots. Fixtures in rooms are pretty outdated. Lobby was a pleasant surprise - much larger and more "elegant" than others in the Pacific chain. Breakfast was OK,... Read the full Arena Hospitality Hotel review

This hotel is very convenient to the HP Pavilon Arena

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • February 14, 2011
Quote: The hotel is a great price for the offered accomodations. The individual rooms require minor repairs such making sure the curtains are properly hung and fixing grout on tubs.
