My husband and I stayed here during The French Quarter Festival and were not that impressed with this hotel. It was nice and clean and the staff was excellent, but we had a stand up shower that leaked VERY badly everytime we took a shower. Parking was expensive($30 a day) but that is almost everywhere in the quarter. It was nice but expected more for a five star hotel. We will probably return to The Shereton or The Bienville House next time. But we would stay here again if our favorites were booked.
Over all a great experience.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. Driving in at night was somewhat tricky with the parades going on and it being on a one-way street but the service was just fine and we enjoyed our time there. The car was always available to us when we needed it which was daily. Parking attendants were prompt. Rooms were clean and staff was very helpful. We would stay there again

I recently stayed at the Renaissance Pere Marquette for business meetings in New Orleans. The hotel's location is excellent. It's like an sanctuary in New Orleans' bustling business district. It is only one block from the French Quarter. Everything is within walking distance of the hotel. Yet it seems like a world away.
The rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was huge and stylish with marble floors.
From the front desk staff and the room service attendant to the amazing bar tender at the lobby bar, every staff memnber was gracious and genuinely glad that I was there.
I will definitely stay at the Renaissance Pere Marquette in the future.

The biggest dissapointment were the dingy bathrooms and that it was not in the French Quarter as listed in Travel agency. I would stay somewhere else for a few dollars more next time.

Some New Orleans hotels can be a little sketchy, especially post-K. This hotel is clean, elegant, modern, and has a friendly and helpful staff. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are large and roomy enough for several people to be getting ready at the same time. It's very centrally located right on the edge of the French Quarter, close to Canal Street. Rooms aren't enormous, but I've definitely had smaller and more-cramped rooms in other NOLA hotels. Also, the toiletries are a cool high-end brand "Lather." Recommended.
