I wanted to Stay longer

I can honestly give this Doubletree 3 Cookies. They would get 4 cookies but the dining room staff was a bit klutzy and totally messed up my order of sushi. But everyone was nice and they tried reall hard to please. The room was clean and cool. The location was close enough to Metro that I didn't mind walking.

Was a little disappointed when we checked into the hotel. We had booked a king room & ended up getting a room with 2 double beds - not the most comfortable for two people. However, the hotel made it right the next day & we were moved to a king room.
Would definately go back to this hotel & the town. The staff was nice and the hotel was very clean. The town of Bethesda was very impressive as it was extrememly clean & litter free.
We were within walking distance of the Metro & some restaurants, and Bethesda offers a free circulator around the town.

I recently stayed here for the first time and will definitely return. The location was great with lots of restaurants within walking distance. The room was newly renovated with a balcony, nice widescreen TV, spacious and well-lit with a nice, bright, albeit a bit small bathroom. Plenty of closet space too!

According to the web page, parking should've been included. The staff continued to explain the options and did not honor the web site misinformation. Fortunately there was a public lot across the back street that was free on the weekends. The bathroom door was tough to close and the bathtub cold water was leaking. I informed the front desk and they confirmed that we would be out for the day, but nobody came in to fix it.
There is a beautiful new fitness center, but unfortunately the rooftop pool had not completed inspection yet and was closed. That was a bummer on a humid weekend when traveling with a child.
