Quote: Overall, my stay was fine. The room was clean, and the motel was well-maintained. The pool area is very comfortable, although the pool was not heated, so the water was a bit chilly. The motel is conveniently located right off a major street, but... Read the full Howard Johnson Sarasota review

Quote: This place is a low budget nightmare. Vomit on the steps, homeless in the hallways at night, and broken security locks only begin to paint the picture. Don't count on the rates and don't try the breakfast.

Howard Johnson - reasonable and well-maintained

Quote: Comfortable, clean, roomy room with plenty of light. In-season rates way cheaper than most of the other hotels in the area, and closest to downtown, Selby Botanical Gardens, and St. Armands Circle (shopping).
