The hotel was convenient to theater district and Rockefeller Center where our wedding was held. The staff was courteous and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

It was the first hotel that I have ever stayed at that charged to gain access to the Internet ($32.00/hour). I was shocked that a hotel of this caliber would do so. I have stayed at hotels all over the country, and they always provided free computer access in the hotel lobby. This hotel had a HUGE Business Center with multiple computers. I never saw anyone using the computers. They also charged you to print your Boarding Pass, after allowing you free access to a computer in the lobby. Once you went to the Business Center to retireve the copy, you were told it would cost $1.00. I would prefer they "hide" the charge in the room rate, and let me think these amenities were free.

Lovely for mid-price NYC

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Sheraton Towers for one night during a short trip to see a show at Radio City Music Hall. Overall the experience was pretty good, one of the easier trips to NYC I've experienced. Location is fantastic - we easily found the hotel via the subway from Grand Central, with convenient proximity to the subway, Times Square, the theater district, Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall, and Central Park. For Manhattan, the room size & condition was pretty comfortable. Anywhere else I wouldn't tolerate some aspects, but a pretty sweet deal for NYC. I've gotten MUCH more tiny, noisy, miserable, shabby rooms for the same price or even more. It was still fairly small and slightly noisy (walls seemed to be pretty thin and we were right near the elevator), but comfortable. The room wasn't spotless, but it wasn't disgusting - some hair in the bathroom and a very slow draining shower, but again, a lovely encounter for mid-priced NYC.
